    Good day all,

I got a little sloppy on a chilly day and popped up my driver. I know there are many tutorials online, but does anybody know of a way to fix this short of sending it to my club mechanic! The mark did not penetrate the paint fwiw.

Thanks and have a great day...

Mr Clean magic erasure or a small amount of car polish/wax.

I have had success with Mr. Clean straight from the bottle. I always find it amazing how with today's huge clubheads how I can manage to hit a popup at all.

  6. Thanks! I had never thought about using car wax. Now my driver is looking beautiful again. Just have to hope for an early spring to get back out.

And it'll go faster with the lower wind resistance as well! ;-)

    (Sorry - couldn't resist)

Depending on the severity, you could start with rubbing compound then move to polishing compound then car wax. A little more grit in rubbing compound a little less in the polishing compound.

Turtle wax also has scratch removal kit that has 4 levels of sand paper.
