    Has anyone ever updated gear & not been as happy with the newer stuff? A few months ago I went from SM7 Vokey 54° & 60°, to SM8 In the same lofts, & they don't feel as solid & stable, leading to less confidence for the shots I need to hit. I feel I have to have a look at the newer Vokey now, as I rely on my short game for my score. Maybe it's just me, but I'm interested to see if anyone else has felt the same thing when they have updated gear (not just Vokey). It's summer in Australia & I'm looking forward to the next few months to play some good golf.

    Did you get the same shafts that you have in your irons as well as the same set up you were fitted for in your irons?

    I have hit them at fittings and they felt pretty solid. Am waiting for the new SM9s to come out and I will get mine to match my irons, 2* flat, 1/2" over. AMT Red shafts R300 steel.

    Are the wedges the exact same grind/bounce and shaft? Any differences there could have a big impact on performance.
