Am pleased with the current way Titleist handles their forum. Do not find it difficult. It exceeds the objective of meet, share and experience, plus keeps the moderators busy handling all the posts. Kudos to them. =)

I agree Chuck! The only tweak I wouldn't mind seeing is a search for threads option but overall I'm very happy with the way the forums are designed.

If you are talking about previous threads, go to the top right and click on the icon that looks like a magnifying glass. Type in what you are looking for. Tried it, it works. Helps you search old threads.

Holy cow, it does work! I never scrolled down far enough (below the product listings and such). This is a game changer and will be very helpful!
For others, my magnifying glass/search button is in the top left (using my phone). Example: I typed in “wedges” and got a product listing of SM9’s they sell, then some clickable links on Titleist produced topics on wedges, then far down under “Discussions” it lists TT discussion boards that include “wedges”!

my only gripe is the lack of a search feature.

i would much rather have a search option so that before I make a post i can search and see if the topic has come up previously that way i can just reply to that one rather than making a new one.

    other than that im happy

There is an older thread, very large tread on this topic that started a couple of years ago. Bottom line is that Titleist does not have the IT expertise or budget for this and does not consider it a priority. They would rather spend resources on supporting events and keeping the forum up and running. You are welcome to dig up that old thread and read through all the comments on the pros, cons, and suggestions instead of everyone going back down that discussion path again.

I wish there was a simple way to do so sir. But I have yet to find where I can search old posts topics/titles quickly and easily.

That is why it is much quicker/easier just to start a new one and ask the question, rather than scroll through old posts for hours on my phone.
If they could allow us to search with different parameters/specificity, that would be incredible!
That would however, not allow for newer members to engage as much if this is only to be used as an archive library reading many years of old posts vs being a new member and creating your own threads/discussions and creating fresh new posts on similar topics.

An App would be awesome. The ability to check things wherever and when ever with the ease of an app would definitely streamline things. Alerts, notifications, and posts would be literally at your fingertips.
  9. Just really love what we have so no need for an app for me

I guess an app would be a nice luxury, but I just bookmark the site in my browser, works for me just as well!

Maybe they can make a deal with users. Create an app if we all agree to leave our phone in the car or at home when playing golf.

I like your idea, new to the forums, but seem to be overall pretty user friendly!! Love the easiness of an app!

I think it’s good how it is! Here and Facebook is good enough.

The good thing about not having the app is that when people see me typing comments on TT forums on my laptop, they think I am busy working ;)

Okay, for only this comment, I want to redact my post and keep it as is!

Would love an app, but until they can get one I just keep forum on a bookmark ... always have worked for me so far.

Would love a TT app! Would be pretty cool to have a condensed version of the website.

App would be great. Would love to see a TT logo front and center on my phones home page. Click on it and my profile is always loaded, new products pop up now and again, forum notifications that people commented on my thread or that others are commenting on a thread I'm following, etc. It doesn't have to be just for the forum either.. special edition product drops, TT event signups, etc.

It could be very nice. And the idea that Titleist couldn't simply hire a 3 person team of college graduates or something along those lines to hook up a snappy app and doesn't have the funds or ability to make it happen is just silly. Acushnet is a powerhouse that is only growing and they could definitely, without a doubt, make this happen.
