    Always a good time. Might as well plan for other rounds while there. This year there is the bookend event (TBD) on the 24th. Hopefully there can be a factory tour available as well. Watching the qa steps in the building of a set is a sight.

    That is why I have held off on booking a flight or hotel yet. Want to get a feel of how the week will go and if I'm able to get into the Monday event before committing to anything. Since I've never been, I'm hoping to maybe get a round at Torrey Pines South while there.

    That would be the remodeled La Costa course. Semi-private has memberships and also spots for resort guests. 36 holes but only the North Course was remodeled. South course is still a good one too. Lots of other options for people all week long. Torrey North and South, Maderas, Goat Hill, Rancho Bernardo, just to name a few. Day trips to Temecula, Laguna Beach, or Harrah’s Rincon if not golfing every day.

    Correct I was recommending the North course. Torrey Pines was my home course for years and would say that the Omni North course is better than both TP South and North. Yes the views are great but Omni North is truly special. I play both Omni North and Aviara more now than TP.

    Yep! I will drive down on Sunday and play in the Monday outing at San Diego Country Club. Probably play one other local course, maybe Wednesday, before The Dale on Friday. Probably staying around Escondido and hitting a few of my favorite dinner spots. Maybe Stone Brewery, Burger Bench, Rock & Jenny’s, Mike’s BBQ, or a few others.

    Hey Everyone - Long shot here but I'll be in Oceanside all weekend. Looking for a spot to play Saturday afternoon so I can visit the Scotty Studio in the morning. Does anyone have a round planned that needs a fourth, or third or second? LOL Can't wait to see everyone in 4 weeks!!

    Sorry Dino. Since I am coming out there the Sunday before, so I can catch the event on Monday at SDCC, I have to head home Saturday morning. Maybe one of the TT locals will reach out and join you somewhere Saturday afternoon. If you end up solo, maybe jump over to Goat Hill Park. It's not fancy but it has a cool, casual vibe and a great story behind how John Ashworth saved it.

    I have always enjoyed the event as it has moved from Madereas and settles into Arrowwood. Have been to all the Dale’s.
    I will most likely be missing this year’s event. Ran out of the house to move a car and found the walk coated with black ice. Feet went out from under me and I landed on my left side and shoulder. 6 broken ribs later, it is unlikely I will be able to take full swings by then.
    Should my recovery go faster than expected I may still be a late entry. Love the event and seeing the TT members.

    Just signed up to play. This is my first TT event. Visiting CA from Minnesota and Saturday is my 62 birthday day. Looking forward to it. See you all soon.

    Definitely considering this. I’ve never played in a TT event and I really like the Arrowood course. Only 30 mins from me as well.

    Come join us, we always have fun. Our event is unique in that Titleist Assembly Plant and offices are nearby so we have a Titleist staffer join every group. A great way to get to know Titleist employees and make some lasting friendships.

    We have a few each year including a couple of Titleist employees. We play to have fun at this event so it’s about having fun more than extreme competitiveness. Feel free to sign up, invite others, and enjoy the day. Welcome gifts, snacks, friendships, and ending raffles along with a fun golf course.

    First group off at 11AM so last off around 12:30PM. Gets dark early in February so should be finishing the last group around 5PM. Food, drinks, awards, and raffle after so likely 6:30PM - 7:00PM finish.

    Unlike a lot of longstanding groups that have a strong male bonding, the Titleist events I’ve attended have always been accepting of any golfer showing up. Regardless of skill level. Hopefully more women will join the events without fear of misplaced male scorn. Before Lisa Titleist has had other women concierges that have promoted acceptance of any golfers. The events are focused on the experience and not highly competitive. Feel free to attend any Titleist sponsored event.

    This year we switched to Titleist doing the registration so I did not have visibility into the sign ups. Lisa just told me we were full now so I would expect that she would have a short wait list in case there were a last minute drop out. Sorry you did not get in. I tried to give early notice last month knowing we always fill up. Hopefully it works out for you next year.
