  1. Guys I've just got a 910 hybrid with an X Speeder 904 in it, first time I've gone past a stock shaft and i love it beyond belief.

I'm after a 910 D3 with a shaft that performs in a similar way, never thought of myself as an X flex player before and am still not sure of it in a driver. I have a tendency for driver to balloon in the wind. Any advice on what shafts to try would be great.

    Hi James,

We would always recommend going to be fit for any metal or iron - whether that's via your nearest Titleist authorised stockist / SureFit fitting account or one of the Titleist National Fitting Centres. It's almost impossible to make a recommendation without a trained fitter looking at how you swing the club and launch the ball - there are so many variables that come into play with anyone's swing.

If you were fitted for the 910H, it would be worth returning to where that took place to compare several options and work with that fitter to get the optimum combination for your swing.

    Hope that helps.

Hi Certainly being fitted is better than guesswork if you aren't aware of all the shafts and heads out there. But the speeder 904hb is a low launching. low spinning shaft. Therefore, a good place to start would be the 910 D3 head, as its a slightly lower spinning head than the D3, as for shafts, take a look and do your research on shafts like the Diamana Ahina, the Oban Devotion, and the new shaft offering from Titleist which is the Fujikura Motore speeder 6.2. Use this info when you go to your fitter as it will do no harm to go armed with some research. Jason
