Yes you probably guessed I am that blind golfer. I am one of the top 3 or so blind golfers in the world playing off 13 but nearer to 9 or 10 after a few group lessons and lots of practice after losing my job a few months back (see hole in one stories). I live in a world within 30 or so yards, anything outside that I dont see (so I lose lots of balls). I hope to be down to 5 or 6 by the end of next season making me the best "registered blind" golfer on the planet by a country mile... having started out at 21 just 2 years ago. Im thinking short game short game short game in terms of practice what do you guys think. And if by any chance you're a young pro (or an old one for that matter) interested in a bit of voluntary work coaching the best blind golfer on the planet (good for the CV) (would love to pay for lessons but mortgage kids etc) please let me know Im willing to travel from Lancashire for some quality coaching. www.blindgolfer.co.uk regards pete
