710 v 712 Irons

    Earlier this year I was fitted at your new facility at St Ives for a mixed set of irons 3-6 CB's and 7-PW MB's. I've got on really well with the irons but the glare from the sun (when it does come out) can be distracting, especially on the MB's. Obviously the new 712's are a mat finish which should solve that problem but is it possible to order half a set i.e. 7-PW? Also have Titleist thought about bringing out a combo set of these irons?

    Hi Martin,

    Yes, it is possible just to order MB (712) as 7-PW - you would just need to go through your preferred authorised Titleist retailer as before.

    With regards combo sets, do you mean something different to the set up that you already have, i.e. mixing CBs at the top end with MBs at the bottom end? We're seeing more of our custom club orders using different combinations - AP1 for longer irons and AP2 in the shorter ones, AP2 long and CB short, etc.

    Hi Neil - Thanks for getting back to me. I've heard good things about the new MB's so will arrange a session at my club to see what they're like and then order them from there. I've heard that there are more combinations being ordered and wondered why a newer version of the 735 CM's have never come out, they were a great set?
