  1. Hi guys

Managed to get a good deal on a ex demo D2 with a RIP 60 shaft and I am in the process of tinkering with the settings to find a best fit. I am going to go to the National Fitting Centre near Edinburgh after xmas to get a proper fit but until then looking for some help.  My normal bad miss is a push slice and looking for a setting that will minimise this miss. On good shots it is mostly straight with a hint of a draw. Tried the C3 setting at the range which was good but seemed to be getting some crazy hooks with it now and again. Didnt even flirt with the right side though lol. Anyone have a similar experience that could offer some quick advice?

    thanks

    Hi Ian,

First of all, it is important to check that the shaft in your driver is the optimum for your swing - you will be able to do this at Kings Acre when you arrange your appointment.

In the meantime, I have spoken to one of our fitting technicians who says that C3 is a good setting to avoid the push slice miss, but that you may also want to try either A1 or B2. You shouldn't add loft though.

Hope that helps until you get fit!

  3. Thanks for the reply Neil

I seem to be fairly consistent in the B2 setting however my ball flight seems odd. It is a low flight but when it reaches its max height it seems to fall out the sky, is this due to not enough spin on the ball? never had this kind of flight on my last driver which has a project x6 shaft.

    Hi Ian

Do you mind me asking where you purchased the ex demo 910 D2 ?

    Many thanks

  5. Hi Richard

Got the club from my golf pro shop as I am a member of the golf club. Guess I was quite fortunate as they are hard to come by and looked everywhere else.

    Cheers
