    Hi Kenny,

We would always recommend being fitted in an ideal world - this is because there are numerous variables that affect the specification of the wedges that you may end up with. First and foremost, the fitter will be looking at whether you are, as Bob Vokey would put it, a "digger" or a "slider", i.e. do you take a big divot playing wedge shots or do you pick the ball cleanly.

Our fitters would then match the bounce options to maximise your shots with wedges. They would then look at the gapping between your Vokey wedges and the bottom end of your set of irons. Additionally, they would go through the shaft options - not just in terms of flex, but weight and length.

    Hope this helps!

Kenny I have same dilemma, struggling to justify travelling to down to Kings Acre (400 mile round trip) just to get fitted for two wedges. Probably best to wait for a fitting day in local area...
