  1. Hi, I just wanted to find out if Titleist do MOI matching for golf clubs? And if so what the process is? Thanks

    Hi Andrew,

The short answer is no - just trying to gather the information behind this and will get back to you soonest.

  3. Hi, thanks for the reply and look forward to your repsonse. If MOI matching is not possible do you know if there is any way of getting the iron heads on there own? Thanks

Hi Andrew - still waiting for some more feedback. Again, short answer to your question about whether we supply just the iron heads is that I'm afraid we don't.

Back soon on the MOI question.

  5. Hi, just wondered if you had any luck with the MOI question? Also, do Titleist keep many old clubs in stock? Someone decided to take the PW from my set of 680's, need to try and find a replace ment.

    Hi Andrew,

I received the following feedback from Chris McGinley, the VP for Titleist Club Marketing:

"Our experience has told us that focusing on a single club value like total club MOI at the potential expense of the many other variables you need to consider when building high performance golf clubs is not appropriate. Our clubs are built to have overall performance and balance including the overall MOI. Through our Q/A process we closely monitor and control the weight of each component which ends up producing the best finished set in terms of total weight, swing weight, and MOI. We also inspect our shafts to insure they fall within the proper weight, flex and frequency ranges.

In terms of our heads there is a great deal of high level engineering that goes on to insure the CG is in the proper place so that the appropriate MOI is achieved both around the CG axis for forgiveness, and around the hosel axis for workability.

No brand of clubs has enjoyed more success in terms of total player count on the PGA Tour, among club professionals and competitive amateurs. We know our club building methods work and this is the living proof."

    Hope this clarifies!

    - Neil
