712 CB/MB Combo.

    Hi there,

    Just had a fitting done for a new set of irons and the fitter recommended 712 CB 4 - 9 iron OR CB 4 - 6 and 7 - 9 MB.

    Wondering what you guys think about Combo sets and what difference is there at lower irons (7, 8 & 9) between CB and MB?

    Any feedback is appreciated...

    Hi Andrew, I did the same as you, I bought the 3-6 on CB then 7-PW on MB, a lot of the tour pro's are doing! Great to get the MB's for lower irons for workability and feel. I would recommend the set up with as many MB's as possible. Cheers C

    hi colin, i would really like to get the mb 7-9 but when i went for the fitting i struggled with the 6 iron mb. the 6 iron cb was much better feeling and shot wise but i was unsure if i would have the same issue in the shorter irons. cheers, andrew. p.s, apologise for the bad punctuation, im using my phone to write here.
