Hi, I personally think that it depends what you want to use it for, I found the Fd a little big behind the ball on the fairway but good on the tee so if you are looking for an driver alternative the Fd is ideal but for me the f is far better off the fairway. Having said that people who play other brands or other game improvement woods would probably not agree with me.

I liked both the F and Fd, but decided on the Fd because i prefered the way it looked at address. It just shows how preferences change from person to person. I found the Fd just as easy to hit of the fairway as the F. My decission was purely based on looks.

I play the F as it is far better for tight lies and since I play an inland links course it is ideal.

If you play a manicured parkland course I'm sure the Fd would be an advantage.

I have been using a 15Fd for about a year and found it to be good off the tee and off the deck. To be honest I tried both at the fitting and couldn't tell enough of a difference. The Fd just sat better behind the ball for me. I play all types of courses and I can pretty much do what it want with it - can hit the high floating shot at a green or grip down and drill it low. I think it also depends on the type of shots you play. How many times are you going to be playing a three wood in at a green and how many times will you use it as a driver substitute? If its more the latter get the Fd and stick a hybrid in the bag for the times that you are shooting at the green.
  7. I have a 15fd and been using it for 6 months, the advice above is spot on , works off the ground and the tee just as well as each other, hybrids for shots into greens, i could not visually see much difference in size between the 2 only point of caution is my gripe that the 910 range do not seem very durable and the top face of mine is badly scarred due to occasional bad shots, looks dreadful already.
