It has long been an ambition to own a Scotty Cameron. Can anyone recomend a suitable model to suit strong arc stroke and also forgiving as a high handicappper. Do titleist offer putter fittings as a scotty a big investment

Hi Phil,
Some other members will hopefully chip in, but for a strong arc stroke (in, square, in) you should look for maximum toe flow - this would be Select Newport 1.5 and the California Del Mar.
We don't offer putter fitting currently, but there are a number of good PGA pros focused on putter fitting.
Thanks
- Neil
Thanks for the advice. After completely changing my whole bag from Ping to Titleist i am very pleased with the results so putter could be next.
Received great advice and fitting from Matthew at Golfers choice Northampton.
Hi Phil - we're delighted that you've made the switch.
As always, having posted an answer, you talk to someone else and get some additional input - you might also want to consider the new Studio Select GoLo when it starts shipping from April 1. This will be a higher MOI putter offering higher levels of forgiveness on off-centre strikes. (I can vouch for that already!!!)
Thanks for your posts - keep them coming!
As per your recommendation i would like to compare the models. Do you have demo clubs at St ives as most shops dont stock all the range due to limited market. If not can you recommend a pro shop etc that does stock the range.
We will soon be setting up a network of Scotty Cameron trial stockists across the UK and Ireland that will give to the ability to trial and select from a wide choice of the range.
I will try to keep you posted on progress and timing - but the aim is to be up and running during May.
If you are keen to move sooner than that, please let me know and we will look at other options.
Do you know when shops will recieve the new studio select as web info says shipping from April 1. I have phoned a few local stockists who dont have much stock of Scottys to compare. Would i be better going somewhere like the Belfry or Woburn
In all likelihood, some stores may receive the Select line ahead of 1 April, but that is the nominal date that orders placed on the system start shipping. It may be worth asking your pro to talk to his / her Titleist sales manager to see if they can get some demo putters in.
