If you are not yet a member at a golf club, it would make sense to book the appointment through the pro or authorised Titleist retailer that you intend to purchase the clubs through, as the specs from your fitting will go back to that retailer for fulfilment.

Hi Neil, Thanks for the quick response. I guess I should explain a little more. I have a standard specs older set (12 years old) of Titleist clubs from driver to putter that have served me quite well. I'm not looking to upgrade all the clubs at once due to costs but wanted to get the club specs before so when I am ready to purchase I will know exactly what I need. Since I dont have a pro and my local retailer is either online or at say.."American Golf" would it be best to book an appointment for a driver fitting when I'm ready to purchase the driver with the pro at Celtic Manor? Then return to get the irons? etc..... Apologies if I sound a bit lost... I am :-)

It can seem a little bewildering, but I would recommend you pick your retailer and get fit as and when you have a need, i.e. if you feel it's time to change the irons, book an iron fit. If it's time to look at the driver / metals, book a fit for that when the requirement is there.

Being unattached to a club / pro, I would work with someone you feel comfortable with, whether that is with Celtic Manor (if they are on the doorstep) or any other Titleist authorised retailer, to book the appointment. Celtic is a retailer as well as being home to the Titleist National Fitting Centre for Wales.
