Serial number on 910 D3

    My friend recently purchased a 910 D3 from an authorised Titleist dealer but when he gave me a hit with it I noticed there was no serial number on the head. The hologram that should be on the shaft has been removed as well I think. You can see a sticky rectangle where the hologram would normally be. My thought was this was a demo and therefore no serial number and the holographic serial number from the shaft was removed to stop anyone checking it with titleist and having it confirmed as being a demo club. Can you please confirm if this is the case and what should my friend do?

    Hi Ross,

    Only custom orders have the head etched with a serial number - any stock product will have the holographic sticker. It could be that the sticker was simply removed as someone picked at it.

    The club in question could therefore either be a stock club or a demo club - both of which are exactly the same.
