    Could you please tell me if this is an official Titleist 910 D2 driver. the serial number is: 1898036

    Hi Stephen,

    Can you check that number again? There should be two letters followed by six numbers if you are referring to the security label on the shaft.

    If it is etched on the head, then it should be six numbers.

    Yer this is the number which is etched onto the head. So clearly a fake driver then I take it, Regards

    Hi Stephen,

    It could be a stick built in the US - let me send the reference number to colleagues in the US and see if I can get further clarification from them. Not a serial number format that we use in Europe.

    Hi Stephen,

    It seems that the number to which you refer has been called into the US a number of times, usually relating to a 910 D3. The reference number actually relates to a batch of 910 D2 clubs with a PRX stiff flex shaft.

    Could you confirm where you purchased the club and we can do a little further digging on this?
