titleist ap1 710 iron serial number

    Hi,Just bought a brand new set of ap1 710 irons with graphite shafts from a authorised online dealer.Just read somewhere that if there is a serial number stamped on the ferrule of the 6 iron then they are a custom set.mine have the number 2511 on the 6 iron and i was wondering what this means in terms of them being a custom set.

    Hi Neil,

    Custom sets are stamped on the hosel / ferrule on each club. Stock sets, however, have a four digit serial number stamped on the 6-iron, so this simply means the set you have purchased are a stock set.
