    Hi Ian,

I'm afraid from the sounds of it that you have purchased a counterfeit product, as this is a serial number that has been compromised several times. The number you quote is a US serial number, which left our facility with reference to a 910D2 driver.

Could I ask you to email our brand protection team (ip@acushnetgolf.com) detailing what you purchased, where you purchased it from and when? It would be useful if you could provide any other relevant details about the transaction at the same time.

Unfortunately, the adage "If it looks too good to be true, then it usually is" holds true in these situations and the best way to avoid purchasing counterfeit goods is to purchase via an authorised Titleist retailer.

    Kind regards

    Hi Neil

Just following on from the above post I have a quick question? I've put my 910Fd in the bag for the first time this last week, which I had last Christmas, and I've noticed it has 647654 on the head. I know where it came from and the shop is an authorised Titleist dealer so I wondered why it would be stamped? Could it be that it was just ordered to my spec, although not fitted? It's a 15° with a Diamana kai'li 75 mid s shaft.

    Cheers

    Ian

    Hi Ian,

That indicates that it is a custom order - this could be as little a change as the grip being different from stock or that the swingweight has been altered. To all intents it is a stock product, but these minor changes would make it a custom order.

    Thanks

    Hi Neil,

Recent new register addition to the Titleist team and following on from the above regarding counterfeit clubs, I recently purchased a set of AP1 (712) GRAPHITE 65i from a friends colleague at a good price.

All the clus have the same register number 825241 on the "ferrule", are they genuine.  ?

    Hi Alex,

    Welcome to Team Titleist!

The serial number that you listed refers to a set of AP1 (712), with Titleist Tour AD Graphite shafts in R-flex, standard loft and lie, with Tour Velvet grips.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Neil,

Thanks very much assumed they were o.k but you never know

They are a delight to use and will now book into Kingsacre to sort out the woods .

    Kind regards

  8. Hi Neil I have recently bought a 913 fd 18 loft.  It looks and plays fine but I notice some rust like discolouration on the underside which I think was from something sprayed on the golf course....... Is this normal??? Thamks

  9. Team Titleist Staff

    Hi Geoff,

Without knowing what was sprayed on the course, it is difficult to say.  Unfortunately, there are a number of chemicals that are sprayed on the golf course that can harm the clubs if they are not cleaned off after the shot or round.  If you want it to be looked at, I would suggest taking it to your local authorised Titleist retailer and they can have a look for you.

    Regards,

    Chris
