I am after some advice on wedge bounce. I would consider myself a slider so after reading the info on fitting came to the conclusion I need less bounce on my wedges. I currently use a 56 degree wedge with 11 degrees of bounce with a m grind and am finding it digs a bit. Would I be better getting a 56 with less bounce. My only concern is that it says on the vokey site to have a range of bounce options in your wedges. I have a 52 with 8 degrees and a 60 with 7 degrees of bounce

    Hope someone can help.

    Hi Adam,

I think the first thing to suggest is that you see your pro and get some lie tape put on the sole of the wedge to see where the strike marks appear.

Having spoken to one of our fitters, going with less bounce, in general, could lead to the club digging even more than the 56.11. More bounce would generally help keep the clubhead closer to the surface of the turf.

As Bob Vokey always says, "Bounce is your firend".

Best advice would be to work with your pro or nearest Titleist SureFit partner to find the optimum specs for you.

    Hope this helps.
