    I was watching a few jason dufner swing videos a d noticed that when he is about to take a backswing his hand are further back than the club what does this do and why does he do it

    There is an analysis on youtube which looks at his swing and highlights that he is at a conventional hand ahead forward shaft lean position at impact. The negative shaft lean at address is just one of the nuances of his swing which he corrects probably without even thinking about it.

    One of the reasons why we shouldn't copy pro swings as we can't carry out the corrections!
