Are demo clubs different to the ones you buy?

    Hi, Just hit the new 714 demo irons. they have surefit necks with a hole on the bottom for the screw, and a much longer metal neck. They really look quite different from the ones on the shelves. Q. Is the weight distribution different? Do they play any different?? If not why not? Thanks

    Hi Neil,

    Great question.  Obviously there is a cosmetic difference,, but in terms of playability you should not see any change in the way the club plays.  Basically, the hosel sleeve that goes into the fitting head has been designed to weigh very similar to the Tungsten weight in the retail head and so acts to do the same.
