Just wondering if the current setting I've got on my D2 is causing me to hit near the heel.

After using impact tape my impact zone is bottom left of the club face near the heel.  This is when I address the ball the in the centre of the club.

If I address the ball towards the toe I still impact the same area bottom left near the heal.

    My current setting is C3.

My question is will the settings C4 help with my impact location as the club face is more open as currently C3 closes the face.

Or do I need to change the lie angle.

Any advice or help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi Scott,

I had a little issue with my D2 and hitting off the toe a little to much. i personnaly paid £40.00 and had a refitting at the Titleist centre is St Ives Cambridge booked through my proshop.  They were fantastic and changed my setting to sligtly open and worked a treat.  But I must add that was a few years ago. I have just been for a fitting for the new 915  what a difference settled with the D3 whihc was a suppirse to me.  My advise pay the money get fitted by the best you will reap teh rewards
