Hello all, I've just taken the leap to join team Titleist following a very good year of golf.

Prize vouchers have been put towards a set of 716 AP2's which are currently being built.

I've always played with lessor known brands due to financial reasons, but following the 2015 season its now time to invest in my future.

Well, anyway.. My name is William Murfitt, I'm a very keen golfer and have been playing since the age of 10, I'm now 26. I live in North Wales and at the beginning of 2015 i was appointed the club captain, this has been a huge honor for me to be in this position. We entered the Golfplan Pro Captain challenge, where we won the qualifier (including a hole in one for myself for which i received a lovely gift pack from Titleist, including a sleeve of balls, a bag tag and certificate) and then progressed to the Grand final in Turkey at the PGA Sultan course last month (November) where we were sat in 7th place after day one, but a serge of birdies saw us finish day two at -10 tied for the lead with Cardiff Golf club. We went into a two hole playoff and i managed to secure the win with a birdie on the second hole of the play off.

I've also won various events at my club throughout this year. I entered toward the end of the season the North Wales Amateur Championships where i finished 21st in the nett competition. which although isn't great it has given me a target to beat for next year.

I'm still awaiting the delivery of my new Irons that i've purchased but once they arrive i'll be sure to be out wearing them in asap.

Thanks in advance for welcoming me to the Titleist Team.

    Kind Regards,

    William.

Thanks John, a great year indeed, I can't wait for next season. Although I really want my clubs to hurry up and arrive. The wait is killing me :( Turkey was a fantastic trip, I enjoyed every second of it, The PGA and Golfplan insurance looked after us like royalty. we all had an insight into what it would be like to be a tour player. Birdie on 17 then birdie nett eagle on 18 made the week for me, We won the competition on the 2nd hole of the play offs where I holed a third birdie in four holes. A fantastic experience and one that if you ever get the opportunity to enter the GOLFPLAN PRO CAPTAIN CHALLENGE it's one not to miss.

    How about that for service....

Ordered last Thursday roughly 8pm this was sent to Titleist Friday morning told order time was 7-10 days. ( not sure if working or calender )

Contacted foregolfchester Wednesday because I'm impatient and really wanted to get these in my bag. Told they are due to arrive Monday, more than happy with that answer....

Lunch time today ( Thursday ) received incoming call to inform me that the club's have arrived and ready for collection.

Wow Titleist you have done well. I'm like a kid at Christmas!!!

    THANK YOU

I've played three rounds so far and I'm very impressed, and scores have been good. Still finding it hard to get to grips with distances but this will come in time.

Prestatyn golf club (North wales) 15 holes 30 points

    Royal Winchester (south England) 78 - 10 = 68 (par 71)

    Weybrook Park (south England) 81 - 10 = 71 (par 72)
