    Has anyone been lucky enough to get their hands on a 917 yet? Or perhaps read about performance advantages over the 915's?

    I've only recently put a 915 fairway (15 degree) in the bag after an official Titleist fitting session at my club, and it's a serious upgrade over the 910. The 915 driver has only been in my bag for 1 year - best driver I've ever had - and I'll be very reluctant to feel the need to switch again so soon.

    I doubt if we will see them in the UK much before Oct/Nov. I went from the 913 which I could not get on with to the 915 and agree it is the best driver I have had. At the moment my swing has decided to disappear on me and my game is awful (just in time for a trip to some easy Scottish links in September) but the driver is still performing well.

    I sure performance will be improved on the 917, keen to find out which shafts are being offered.

    Which links are you intending to play?

    Ps make sure you bring your wet gear its winter up here already!

    Trying to find out if I should wait for 917 or just get the d4 915.what is the price difference .

    915's at my pro shop are being discounted to less than £250 which probably means £100 less than the 917 launch price.
    My pro has tested the 917 and reported that it's yet another improvement on the previous model. Best to test them side by side and make your own judgment.
