    Just returned from a break in Lanzarote where I thought I would try out the 2017 Titleist ball range to find this years choice. After 5 rounds, 2 in 50kmh winds and lots of lost balls I am no closer to deciding which ball to use. Velocity was great in the wind, distance was same for all balls with driver, long and mid irons but Pro v1 couldn't be beaten for feel, spin and control on short irons from 90 yard down.

    Putting I actually preferred the Dt truesoft as I never left it short.

    Couldn't really tell much difference between NXT s and tour.

    Given that I play West coast Scotland(wet and windy) I will try out the Velocity and Dt until good weather arrives then switch to the Pro V1

    I am trying out the DT TruSoft lately also.... Gotta admit that so far I love them and a great price......Not sure what they will be like when the greens really firm up in the summer but then again having said that , most of my chip shots end up short a lot of the time so a bit of roll out isn't always bad.

    Just looking back through my rounds with gamegolf app and notice I made a mistake, my best round was with the ProV1x and not the Prov1.
