Has anyone tried the club trial from either a club or local store?

I had a fitting for Driver and fairway/hybrids at a Titleist Thursday a couple of weeks ago but it was off the mat due to the weather, so I was looking to try them out on the course..

Do they set the clubs up to your spec, shaft and weight/bias? Do you have to use them at the club, on the course or range?

Also anyone has experience of the both 818 and 816 hybrids, is there a big difference?
