30th birthday treat!!

    Hi all. Unbelievably I will be turning 30 next May. I have allways said I will go over too the US and watch the masters as a treat too myself for it. Now it’s come close too booking it I’m tempted by going over too play in America (not sure where) for 5/7 days. Masters or a playing trip I’m unsure. Have any of you been or done both? Any hidden gems too play? Need help too make up my mind!!

    Myrtle Beach is a 4 hour drive from Augusta and you'll be spoilt for choice there!! Or slightly further north is Pinehurst !!!!!

    Could be good options there thanks!! Have you played them? So many choices it’s almost impossible!!

    Went to Myrtle some years back it's a must for golfaholics with themed bars and shops. There are so many courses differing in type and difficulty (US slope rating) and by architect you're just spoilt for choice... the local saying is 'wake up, tee off, and then decide which course you're playing'...So I guess it's down to your preference (links or parkland and there's always water and island greens...

    I forgot you also have Kiawah and Hilton Head ( Harbour Town ) also an easy drive...

    If it were me and a once in a lifetime trip I'd look to play Pinehurst, Kiawah and Harbour Town....
