My new putter for this season Custom refinish by Chris Finch I fitted a SuperStroke Pistol GTR Tour grip in blue which feels great In between is the ratty old original shaft, still in decent condition but with the all important serial number and labels still in place

Think I prefer the feel off the face of the milling rather than the new inserts, what does anyone else think?

I have one of those and do prefer the feel of this compared to the newer ones. Love the refurbishment, I may have to do something similar
  4. Now that certainly looks the business, Alistair.
I'm happy with a putter as long as it feels soft off the face, but I'm always mucking' about with putters and don't really settle on one for long!

    That's a great looking putter.
  7. Scotty Cameron putters are beautiful pieces of golfing art, especially the Limited Edition ones which are usually "pimped out" versions of standard model.
I am lucky enough to own a few and enjoy using them, but I have had to pay an exorbitant profit margin to third party sellers as they sell out immediately at retail.
By having yours refinished to a high standard you have created your own masterpiece and very nice it looks too.
