Hi guys,
I used to play to a good level as a junior but gave up to focus on my professional accountancy exams. During that time I only played a few times a year. Anyway they are done now, and I purchased a new set of clubs at the end of last year as my old ones were just that - old. (anyone remember 983 drivers?)
As I've bought a new set I was planning to start competition again and regain my handicap, but I've yet to put my cards in. I'm playing to about 8 or 9 fairly consistently in the games I've played this year. I've now got to the point where I'm just enjoying playing and wondering whether competitions and handicaps are worth the hassle.
So what do you guys think, go for it and get a handicap back or just enjoy my golf?
Cheers
