Is upgrading clubs and fitting worth it - definitely!

  1. Having watched my handicap drift from 7 to 13 over the last 10 years with barely a single round in that time reversing the trend, I was fitted for T100s and wedges in September and woods/hybrid last month. Today was the irons 4th round and the woods 2nd - and also the first club competition with the new full bag. I think the 41 points scored really tells the story and I definitely left a few out there with some poor decisions and execution.

To anyone thinking about upgrading and getting fitted - it is no brainer so just do it!

That's a great testament to the need to get fitted for all your clubs.
  3. AJP,
If, like me, you are on your club's winter course, I guess you've now got all winter to wreak havoc before your handicap comes under scrutiny!
I agree with you, there is nothing quite like being properly fitted and then picking up the clubs and finding that they are as good as you had anticipated. It gives you confidence.
Now, I wouldn't dream of buying any new clubs without fitting.

I’m at St Ives tomorrow for the latest fitting instalment.

  5. Hi Chris

I had a fitting at St Ives and would like to say that it is well worth the travel and investment. Titleist really look after you and put every aspect of your swing into the fitting by selecting the shaft loft and lie that is perfect for you.

    Best Wishes
