So thanks to this COVID-19 situation the UK is in ... a golf trip I had planned for March to Royal Lytham, Royal Birkdale and Hillside has had to be cancelled and rearranged for later in the year ... I'm gutted!!!

Plans for later in the year are also looking to be cancelled or rescheduled.

Anyone else having their golfing plans absolutely scuppered for the year? Can't wait to get through this and be able to play some golf again!

    Hope everyone is keeping safe.

Yep I was meant to be playing archerfield with 3 mates with a stay over for a few beers, plus I’ve just joined a new golf club managed to get 2 games in before it closed.
  3. 2 days before 19th March I had a Titleist Thursday fitting cancelled and I was gutted and it was for 3 sessions in a row and for a full bag fitting. I was going to order it all for the new season ahead. So I feel your pain as had big plans for the year ahead. But there is always next year hopefully.

I suppose the positive is you still have your fittings to look forward to!

I have organised my works outings for many years, looks like our annual 3 day (5 round) trip to Perthshire in early June will be cancelled, may look at later in the year.

Roxburgh Texas scramble at the end of April has already been cancelled and our annual trip to pitreave in June looks at risk aswell at the moment

The lockdown just gives us time to plan more golf trips for when we can get back out!

I have had several golf trips/days cancelled, 3 day tournament at The Oxfordshire, 36 Holes at Woburn, plus Society days at Essendon, Wilderness and Swinley Forest.

Hopefully, I can still play Woburn in August & September and 6 days trip to Portugal to watch the Ryder Cup, if it goes ahead. Just glad we didn't book to go to the US this year. Its the first one I have missed for 12 years.

That is a serious commitment to the Ryder Cup trips! I'm yet to see one live but it's definitely on the to do list.

Apart from the usual home club summer friendlies which luckily were mainly home ties, currently missed society at West Hill and Lambourne (next week),a trip to St Ives in May, and society trip in June to Royal Porthcawl, Pennard and Machynys is still booked pending lockdown updates.

Missing golf like crazy but rather be safe than at the mercy of the virus.

Looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible at future Team Titleist events so please stay safe..

Definitely! As much as we all love golf and exploring new courses, there are bigger things in life that matter.

Very much the same for me..... became a member of a club for the first time in 6yrs on the Monday lockdown measures were enforced. Golf trips in April cancelled and Celtic Manor at the end of June looking highly unlikely. Had more golf trips or golf days booked this year than any other but they can all be re-scheduled so nothing lost. Stay safe everyone!

Just kind of curious. Our group was planning on playing the UK Open rota in mid-May. That trip has been postponed, but the wife and I were scheduled to sightsee 24 May through 4 June. Our flights are as scheduled, but we were wondering how things are going over there. Any insights?
  17. I am due to play Muriefield, Gullane No.1, Berwick and Gleneagles in mid May; it’s just not going to happen !

12 of us had a trip to Fuengirola and Marbella cancelled. I’m supposed to be there in two weeks but I’ll probably be just looking out the lounge window instead wondering what might have been
  19. 5 days all inclusive at El Rompido has gone down the tubes. It's not (and never will be...) a classic, historic venue famous for Opens and Ryder Cups but it's a season curtain-raiser for the four of us and the weather's hot. We've known each other for more than 40 years so we are very comfortable in each others' company and we have a good time being waited on hand and foot at a nice hotel.
We're due at the Pestana courses in Portugal later in the year - not sure that will happen either...
