Best finish for SM8

    Looking to change my sand wedge....

    Currently have a 56’ SM7

    What’s everyone’s favourite finish / colour on the new SM8 wedges...I have the black nickel finishes in my other wedges! (Not the ideal finish to be using in bunkers)

    Tour Chrome for me, I play it in 52°, 56° and 60°.

    Brushed steel is my favourite. Chrome has too much glare for my liking.

    Agree with Peter C above, I've moved off shiny chrome on to brushed steel. I like the effect and feel that it improves the "framing" of the ball against the club face.
    Black could do the same but I've seen the black wear and don't care for the effect.
    Never liked raw...

    Went for the Chrome myself as I’ve always used that finish. Only had one round with them before lockdown and placing was still in play. Can’t wait to play Monday.

    Brushed steel for me as I love the reduced glare and the contrast against my AP2s in the bag.
    Full chrome just too shiny for me and whilst the black finish is lovely new, I don’t particularly like how it wears.
    I’m still on my SM6s though...

    I have SM7 in Tour Chrome since Dec 2019 and I used them maybe 10 times. My 58 on the bounce already started to rust and the Chrome disappeared. I asked my Titleist stockiest about this and he told me that I can return it to Titleist but I will need to wait for an answer minimum till end of June.

    Brushed steel for me. I got fitted for my Vokey's and tried all the finishes. I went into the fitting wanting the jet black, but the brushed steel for me was perfect. The others were catching my eye, the brushed steel just looked great and still is. Hopefully we will be left back out soon!!!
