Seems you have sorted the reason for the blip and have a plan to get back on track.

Guess I’ll find out Saturday!

This is definitely something to consider. A few years ago exactly the same thing happened to me. I was playing regularly and consistently, steadily chipping away at my handicap making steady progress to Cat 1.
As it was bright and sunny, I started to wear an old pair of prescription Oakleys. Cue tops, thins and fats! Thankfully it was a practice round with my son and he said to put my normal glasses on which immediately helped. I’m sure that the fractional difference in perception of distance scrambled my brain into making compensations.

Mine are prescription Oakley’s too - a tad expensive to change !

My normal sunglasses have reading lens at the bottom and that can be really off-putting if I look through that part of the lens, and the Mrs always complains that glasses are the issue especially when it rains....

I blame playing too much - my body just can’t take it any more . I’m still on furlough so I played six times last week. On Tuesday I hit my third best score since I’ve been playing at that course, by Saturday I could barely hit the ball straight.

If only I could get back out. But still stuck indoors shielding. Wearing glasses definitely hinders golf in a number of scenarios! Difficult in rain, when it is hot and or humid. It can be a real pain trying to keep the lenses clear enough to see! I paid for anti-mist coatings but this doesn’t seem to have had any benefit.
If anyone has any ideas for keeping lenses from misting up and keeping the clean and dry during a round, please let me know!
