I'm thinking of going back to a Scotty Cameron. I used a Scotty Cameron for about 10 yars but after a month of holing very little i changed to an Odyssey 7 putter.

I'm now missing the feel and look of a Scotty Cameron. Before parting with my money I would prefer to get fitted

Is there anywhere in Scotland (near Carnoustie) that would carry out a proper fitting?

James nip in to Carnoustie golf and see Barry he will probably know.
I’m in tomorrow to get mine re-gripped I’ll ask him.

I’m the same, I switched between my Scotty and odyssey 7 for years.
I spent a long time during lockdown practicing my putting with my Scotty and it’s getting hot so not coming out my bag!

I know that the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre in Aberdeen is an authorised Titleist / Scotty fitting centre so might be worth checking them out. Not sure if there’s anyone with a good fitting centre nearer to you

Depends how far you want to travel, but the fitting centre at Craigielaw is around 1hr 45 from Carnoustie and you’ll get a proper fitting from Graeme Noblett. Use the trip to East Lothian as an excuse for a game on one of the cracking Links Courses there!
  5. You're right - get fitted for a Scotty and you won't look back.
Have done exactly that recently and my putting has improved beyond recognition.
The observation from Lewis, the fitting Pro, about alignment may also (potentially) prove to be extremely valuable in the long run!
Good luck with your search - there is a magic wand waiting for you out there.

I'm booked in for a fitting in Aberdeen next week for my new scotty. You can search for events and partners who specialise in scotty cameron putters on the website. The titleist fitting centre near Edinburgh would be the 1st place to go for the best experience I'd say but its a bit far for me. Good luck at the fitting though.
