  1. I have been told that Titleist no longer have any stock of T100 irons and will not be receiving anymore in the future. Is this correct?

Probably accurate as the final prototype 2022 T100's should be pretty much locked in now and pre-production models would be starting to build in order to have early fall tour seeding and late fall production. That opinion based on past two-year schedules, nothing official.

Apparently that is the case as the new irons for 2021 release are now in production, T100i's as been mentioned.

Loks like we'll have to watch this space.

    Morning.

Not to sure is this is fully correct,

I was in a pro shop and pro had said that it’s possible its now discontinued due to a new iron coming out in Sept 21.

I hope you find the information you require. I’m also wondering as I’ve just bought a new set of T100s and what happens if there is any problems with mine.

I am 100% sure titleist will inform us soon with any updates regarding the T100 iron & new release dates etc.

    Regards

    Simon.
  5. Looks likely as I’ve just seen the pictures of the new T100 as now being tested by pros. At first glance, looks very like a shift towards the TM P790.

Nothing like a TM P790 unless you mean a more traditional blade look. Those TM's are hollow heads with internal weights. What Titleist has done was to clean up the lines and minimize the glued on badging on the backs. These T100's will be one piece forged and with less badging, will feel even more solid. Titleist has always leaned towards a more traditional look when possible as indicated by the last 620MB and even the T-MB's I still play. I would actually say that TM kind of copied the T-MB and U500 when they came out with their P790. Dang, I am sounding like a Titleist loyalist now. Point noted, that the industry is moving more towards cleaner, blade-looking irons.
  7. You mean the T200 don't you? The T100 are technically blades which a decent amount of forgiveness.
  8. No, I did mean the T100 irons.

Demand out-stripping supply...anyway new irons under tour validation and these look a lot better than current ones.

  10. Ant,
Have to agree - I really didn't like the looks of the original T range. Picked them up and "hefted" them but I couldn't get past the bits and bobs on the back. Never even got close to a fitting. Seemed significantly less attractive than my 718 AP's.
The pictures of the new, second generation T range look loads better. The shelf appeal is immediate as far as I'm concerned. Roll on September!

Just received a Titleist email today confirming validation of new irons underway (extract below)so that might be reason , if true, as focus moves towards launch of replacement line.

New Titleist T100, T100•S, T200, and U•505 irons are now being validated by the world's best players.

Validating product performance across the worldwide professional tours is a critical step in the development of all high-performance Titleist golf equipment. Based on initial testing and feedback, the new lineup is poised to continue Titleist's long run as the most played irons on the PGA TOUR.
  13. Many thanks for the replies.
Must admit the new T100 irons look so much better. Less bling on them, I’ll wait for their release.
