Hi There,
I haven't been on this forum for long, and recently I posted my first post about my experiences regarding my Titleist Fitting at The International in the Netherlands.
After being unable to play for 10 years, I fell in love with golf again in March 2021. I have resumed the sport with my beginners set, cally Golf Big Bertha Gems 65i Graphite shaft with a constant-width wide & rounded sole. In a fairly short time I managed to drop to a respective handicap again. But my material limits me to a certain extent.
I have always been in love with Titleist, so the choice was quickly made to go for Titleist for my new material! As I mentioned in my previous post, the new T100 irons are the best match for me.
While I'm waiting for my new club, of course my golf game is not on hold. Yesterday I played 18 holes with BirdieBarty, a good friend of mine who has been active on the TeamTitleist forum for quite some time.
We played on The Links Valley, a reversible course in the middle of the Netherlands. Has anyone ever heard of a reversible golf course before!? It was my first time hearing about it!
It is a 9 hole golf course with 10 greens, which can be played in two directions! How special is that! The course was built on a former waste dump and the space for a golf course was limited.
Of course there are strict agreements in which side is played, that can differ per day. But one thing is certain! Whether you play North or South, it's basically the same holes you play, but the course looks completely different!
Game wise, BirdieBarty and I both played pretty well. Great shots to the flag, perfect short game, and of course a lot of fun.
With my current set I sometimes find myself shooting over the greens, because I don't have a check on the ball. I really can't wait for my new T100 irons to arrive and give you an update on the difference!! My expectation are very high!
