  1. Hi all,

With you guys having always been a genuine bunch and a group will great knowledge and advise.

I kept hitting abit of a brick wall here…

So currently game 714 AP2, absolutely love them great look great feel and overall pretty damn good performance. However after some recent testing it’s very much been hinted to have to need to move into an X100 shaft over the S300 that I currently have in the 714s.

Now the question very much is, keep playing away with the 714s currently and just use them till they canny go no more. Or look at trying to replace them. As much as my heart loves the 620CB and the T100s the budget just can’t quite stretch that far at the moment. What would be an ideal replacement if the best option is to genuinely replace? Or final option to buy a new set of shafts and get the 714s reshafted?

Thanks all!! Look forward to hearing your advise/opinions

    Seriously, you need professional help....
No really, you need a top Titleist fitter with a quiver full of shafts.

Seems like a conundrum suitable for the golfing boffins at Woburn, St Ives, Craigielaw or Carton House.

714 AP2's were the first Titleists I was fitted for so I understand your attachment to them.
However, things have moved on and if I were you, I wouldn't rule out any of the current offerings without hitting them.

  3. Hi JT

I certainly need something I know that for sure haha.

Yeah 100% as I will admit I’ve even toyed with the idea of a combo set but very very few places allow a proper test of that as they’ll only fit to a 7 iron ‍♂️

But yeah I think a proper titleist session might be needed might just have to talk to the wife very nicely!! Haha
  4. Good luck with that - hope you have a strategy....
