SM8 vs SM9 head shape?

    Hi Titleist and fellow TT members,

    Does anyone know if the head shape of the 58.10S is the same in both the SM8 and SM9 wedges? Obviously there is somewhat of a difference in the design, but I'm thinking of the profile, head shape and leading edge design at address. I want to replace my current lob wedge, but can't source a new SM8 club head in Jet Black through my local Pro.

    So, when looking down at the club at address you will not see a difference. If you hold them up next to each other, you will see that the back of the topline is much thicker on the more lofted SM9 wedges. That adds a lower ball flight but with more spin, something the pros love about SM9.

    Thanks Dale! Appreciate the feedback. I've taken the chance and ordered a new one. Should be here in 3-4 weeks. Can't wait :o)
