Drive the 2.5 hours. Nothing beats having a fit at a Titleist fitting centre.

It will be 100% worth it.

Marzy, I agree with Simon's comment above. If you're still using AP2's and bought them new, you clearly don't change your irons that often, so take the time to get it right and done properly and avoid a potential expensive mistake.

If your AP2s have lasted you a good few years then no reason why a set of T series won't, so would suggest taking the time to go for a fitting. I had one as ST Ives a while back and loved it, really enoyable and informative.

Let us all know what you decide, both in terms of fitting process and iron selection. At the risk of sounding hypocrtical, I've just took a punt on a used combi set of 2021 t200 (4,5) and T100.s (6-PW), miraculously found a set with my exact specs so thought I'd give them a go.

You're likely to spend in the region of £800 - £1,000 on a new set of irons, so it's probably a good idea to travel to the fitting, at least you'll be satisfied in your own mind you have the best fit available.

You should have other options for a fitting rather than driving to 2.5 hours, are their any Titleist Professional retailers in your area, they should be able to take you through a fitting session, possibly not as comprehensive as the Titleist one. If you check on this website you should be able to find details, although they might charge you for their time if you don't buy from them.

I changed from 718 AP2's to T100S last year after a Titleist fitting, they have different shafts changing from TT R300 to Rifle shafts.
Ben the Titleist Specialist tried the R300 shafts in the T100S but we found a better flight and tighter dispersion.
