    Hit a full shot from the fairway(!!) yesterday during league play and it felt absolutely terrible like I hit off pavement or something. Immediately looked at the club and was greeted by this atrocity. I must have won the unlucky lottery to come down on a rock under the turf made of kryptonite or something.

    This hurts so much after finally upgrading from SM5 to SM10, only to destroy the leading edge in less than 2 months. Be careful out there!

    Get a hammer and a file and you're good to go.

    I learned my lesson about overdoing loft bending in 2018. I had an SM6 60-12K that I bent to 57* and played it at Torrey Pines. I attempted to have it bent back to 58 and the hosel snapped. I recently acquired an SM6 60-12K for $35.

    My SM10 58-12D has a big scratch on the sole.

    That's why they have these wonderful things called files.

    That is an unfortunate bad break. I have a couple of backyard wedges like Todd mentioned he has in his collection.

    That wedge is fine to play. Either grab a hammer to level out the leading edge or just file it off. Golf clubs are tools, a little nick isn't going to hurt anything.

    That's rough, but been there myself. I don't trust myself to "repair" damages like these, but I have a club guy who pounds and grinds these out for me. It's fairly inexpensive but invaluable in the end.
    As we all know, if you can't trust the club, how can we trust our swing.
