Hey Dr. K -
I played Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio, with my family and friends this weekend. The course looked pristine, especially for this time of year.
The club recently refurbished all of the bunkers on the course. They looked pretty daunting, but great, if you ask me! Above is right of the fairway on No. 10 and below are right side fairway bunkers on No. 18.
Above: From the par-4, 428 yard No. 4 silver tee box.
Above: My dad on No. 8 tee, where behind him you see the "Hinkle Tree" from the 1979 U.S. Open.
Hope everyone is having a great fall season!

Abby, great pictures! Sure looks like a nice course. Hope you had a great time with the family...
Dr. K, i played last Thursday at the Ledges in York, Maine. I played with Rich T., a great guy to play with and also a TT member. He was nice enough to come up my way to play and boy did he play well that day. The pics are from both of us.
The Ledges is a great track and a lot of fun to play. highly recommend it and the conditions were perfect that day.
Rich T. on 1st hole, 2nd shot in. Yes he landed on the green and made birdie to start the day and went on to shoot a great round on a tough course.
Myself staring down a downhill par 3, 166 yard... We both landed on the green. I 3 putted for bogey and Rich made an easy par.
9th hole w/ Rich's bag
Another shot of the downhill par 3, 8th hole
Rich on 8th hole. Yes 8th hole is quite the view. I believe it's the signature hole.

Ledges is a great course, I try to get up there at least twice a year.

The Ledges, one of my favorite courses. And I live just 5 miles from that course!

Jeff, let's try to hook up! I'm about 20 minutes away from the Ledges. I play Portsmouth a lot but also try to sneak in a few rounds at the Ledges. Played there again yesterday, course is in great shape and the greens are rolling REALLLLLLLL nice....
Would to Christopher. If not this season, definitely next. Shoot me a note within TT and let's exchange contact e-mails.
Cheers,Jeff

Nothing spectacular, just the first guy off this morning at 7:20 on one of the courses close to me (The Falls at Turtle Creek). Waiting on maintenance crew to finish raking the bunker and blow leaves off the fairway. Temp was cool (47), but it's great being first person out because I can usually finish 18 in about 2.5 hrs.

One of my favorite posts every year. Growing up in the Midwest but now living in Southeast Texas I miss the change of seasons. Keep the pics coming
Chris-
I'm a Midwest guy too.
I have lived in pretty much all corners of the USA...IN...MD...CA...WI...TX and now the mountains of Western North Carolina.
I do love the changing seasons but I do miss the the weather in Carlsbad and Austin.

This was at Pinecrest Golf Club. It's a short track, but usually in decent shape and really reasonable prices. I live in Bellingham, so it's pretty close as well.
Couple more from Mills River, NC.
High Vista Country Club....15th...18th and 9th greens.

Hole number 17....

Great thread OP!
Here is a couple from my home course (Stafford CC) these were from last weekend.
Here are a few from Oak Hill East. My wonderful wife set up a round for me there through my instructor for a wedding present. This was about 3 weeks ago so the leaves weren't changing much. It was so beautiful there I could only imagine what it would be like now with the leaves changing colors.

I have no idea how to turn this pic, but this is from the 17th tee box at RI Country Club, host of the annual CVS Charity Classic
If you look closely, you can see all 3 bridges in background.

I had a chance to get out yesterday and enjoy some Fall golf. Despite cloudy skies and the occasional drizzle, it was a great day to be on the course.
