Hi Allan. I think the Amateur vs. Professional fitting idea is intriguing. I think it would be interesting viewing what goes into an amateur fitting as opposed to a professional being fit. There's such a wide range of ability in the amateur ranks. I think hearing a professional fitters take on both would be insightful to most of us in the amateur ranks.

    Thanks

Tour pros talking about course management. More about when and where they consider going for it or playing it safe. Situational thinking is a way to put it I guess.

With Covid in place and the ball plant tours on hold , I would love to see a virtual tour of ball plant #3 and the quality assurance that goes into the production of the best golf balls on the planet

Which tour player, current or retired, has the most interesting and unique suggestions when it comes to clubs? Everyone knows Phil does some very interesting things with his clubs, but who is that guy for Titleist?

When Titleist balls are being engineered do the designers try to maximize the balls performance when paired with Titleist products? Example: A Prov1 would preform better with a TSi3 vs a Mavrik. Is it possible to have balls specifically engineered to preform in unison?

    Cheers,

I think a sneak peak at the driver R&D department would be cool. All the materials being considered and how that impacts the final product and what the tour players input is along the way to the finished product.

Wedge gapping.... A professional fitting is always the way to go, but, it is not available to everyone. How about a deep dive into loft, lie, shaft combinations and gapping.

How about stories from tour players talking about their favorite equipment, such as steve stricker using the 755 forged irons recently, and had the 710 apt in the bag for a long time! I think hearing about what clubs they absolutely loved over the years would be interesting!

How often do Tour players actually change out their wedges and do they change lofts/grinds/bounce as they go from course to course?

What drives the club makeup in a Tour player's bag; does it change from event to event and why?

A bit off topic perhaps, but since I have a brother that caddies on the LPGA Tour, I would like to see a behind the scenes look at caddies that work with Titleist tour players.

    1. How early in the design process do tour pros get to see new product releases?

    2. Why don’t more tour pros play the concept line?

    3. As a holiday present, can we get a sneak peek at something really cool coming in 2021?
  18. I would like to see specific points when club fitting. Why adjust the lie angle? Does grip size matter? Selecting the correct shaft length?

I want to go inside the walls of Titleist. Be a fly on the wall, so to speak. Be privy to the inner communications and discussions of those at the top who make the decisions. I'm interested in every aspect of the Titleist line up. But that's a big ask at this point. Maybe in installments over the year that lead up to new product lauches. Of course, #1 on my list is my favorite Titleist product. The golf ball. Any and all info on the R&D of the next generation of the next line up of golf balls is first and foremost in my mind. How it's evolved into what it is today and more importantly, "Why." The planning and prep that goes into the two year cycle. How iron Byron plays a part and how regular players play a part as compared to how the pros play a part in choosing the final product. If there is a different ball for pros and the rest of us. The goals of this new ProV launch and what they're trying to improve over previous generations and how they got there. If a rollback is implemented in the future (hope to God it's not), how would Titleist implement that in the present ball. A video tour of the Ball plant just like someone would take if they were there in person. Also, take us through a day with a Titleist ambassador, my choice would be Justin Thomas, and how he interacts with Scotty, Voke, Aaron and the other fitters. What tweaks they go through. Adjustments, etc. Also, how clothes, shoes, gloves, hats, tees, bags, towels and other accessories are chosen and handed out and what the players receive in their lockers before a round and during the season. Thanks!

In depth analysis of iron/wedge heads with same shafts. Same swing speed, stiffness and kick point. Lighter vs heavier shafts.
