The golf balls were perfect for my game. I’m a 18 handicap. The ball felt softer and went straight off the tee. Seemed to add about 5 - 7 yards to all my shots. After playing a few rounds and had confidence to aim for spots in the fairway and go for the pin. The ball landed soft on the greens and rolled perfectly on all putts.

Thank you for the opportunity to hit a sleeve of these test Titleist golf balls.
  2. Nice feel, good distance. I liked it a lot.

The ball I tested was very good for someone with my 'game'. It had the right combination of firmness (not hard!) and feel. With the driver the firmness delivers a feeling of compressing the ball and a resulting pop for the maximum distance I am capable of. I am not a long hitter so I need a ball with feel that is not too soft for putting and chipping while at same time a ball that had that firm explosive feel. This model was what I would call a firm/feel ball.

I thought the test ball played like a typical Titleist ball. Off the tee it felt great with great distance, I tend to drive my ball very high. I didn't notice anything different. It felt great off the iron face and was one hop stop for me. The one place I thought it excelled for me was off the putter face, nothing out of the norm for Titleist balls.

I found the Titleist test ball to be long off the tee and it had nice feel around the green. I must say that it could take a licking, as well
  8. I was lucky enough to receive a sleeve of the new Titleist balls. Love the distance, the feel, and the ball itself. A very receptive ball when hitting the green. Typically I play the ProV1, and these compared to the ProV1. In fact, if I didn't know any better, I would have thought I was playing ProV1's. Great golf ball and I'm excited to and I want to thank Titleist for letting me test out the new golf ball.
    I am a 8 handicap.
  9. Spin and distance control really good. Dimple design more like cally ball.
  10. Used the prototype white sleeve ball for four rounds. The feel was comparable to the Pro V 1. I do believe it stayed in the air longer and possibly didn’t spin as much off the driver.
  11. test balls were good ,I actually birdied the first hole that i used one (the second one wanted to go for a swim) feel was just a little harder in my opinion than a Pro V1, but overall it was a nice ball

I found the recent prototype test balls to be good for my game. They held up well under several rounds. I got better distance on my drives and better control on the greens. Our greens are firm yet I found the prototype balls would check up well on the greens.

Really enjoyed the balls, I believe they were similar to the AVX that I always play. Soft feel, good distance, excellent feel for putting and around the green. Great ball. I was very sad when I hit a bad shot and lost them. Back to the range to try and eliminate those bad shots!
  14. like the test ball very much, shot a couple of very good rounds with them. Like the trajectory and they held the green on my mid to short irons. Putting (my weakness) rolled the ball better than usual probably just due to paying more attention.
I play the AVX and found the trajectory a little higher.
  15. Liked the spin, really like the ball ha brakes. The distance was about the same as an AVX. So be willing to buy more than they hit the pro shops.
  16. In playing the prototype ball, I didn’t experience more distance than the AVX, in fact typical drives were within a yd or two. During the time I was playing the ball late 2023, my short shots appeared more responsive with AVX vs the prototype. Feel and control were good, no issues. In my opinion, it is another overall solid ball option in the Titleist family.

Unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to get these balls for testing this year. But from what I understand this ball was the new AVX which intrigues me a lot. I was fit right onto the edge of the ProV1 & the AVX ... I could play either ball. SO if there is a ball out there with distance like the AVX but with the feel of the ProV1, then I'd game it in a heartbeat. Bring it on Titleist!
  18. First off thank you for the sleeve of balls. I played 4 or 5 round with the first ball and it had no markings or scuffs on the ball itself. Not sure what the cover is make of but it lasts. Ball distance was great, great feel around the greens. I will buy this ball when available. 2nd ball I gave to one of my partners who then hit it out of bounds and lost it. Third ball had a few rounds and then I hit it into some ice plant on my course at a distance that I had never been to before and lost that ball. Overall a great golf ball and would love a second sleeve.
  19. Thank you for the opportunity to test the prototype ball.

Over a few rounds in late 2023 I played it side by side with my standard AVX. From a distance perspective drives we consistently within a 3-5 yd variance of total roll out (some drives favored each ball). Short game responsiveness favored the AVX, but the prototype was still reactive around the greens. Feel and control elements were positive. There was a noticeable harder sound off the driver with the prototype.

Overall, the prototype could be another good addition to the Titleist golf ball family.
  20. Enjoyed the ball a lot. The feel was great and the flight and control were promising.
