  1. Hello Everyone,
I had my GT fitting on July 9th with Brandon Cauldwell in the Atlanta area. I was fit with the GT2 driver and got it on order. My driver arrived this morning and I played this afternoon. I have been playing a Titleist TSI 3 and a TM Qi10 LS driver. The GT2 driver worked very well today, I was able to hit several draws with the club and my yardage was at least an additional 8-10 yards. I have never been able to hit consistent draws with my previous drivers. It's early, but I am really happy with my fitting and the driver.

Okay...the fact that I am posting here means I am a loyalist. There is no question about that. These new woods have reinforced my decision to trust Titleist with my game.

I got fit in mid-July and received my new driver (GT3 8*) and 3 metal (GT3 15*) two days before a guys trip to Bandon Dunes. Played 36 a day for 3 straight days. Shot the round of my life on the Bandon Dunes course. Had a blast. In all honestly, I was a little trepidatious going into the trip...I was a little worried about the high winds and my tendency to blast a few high and right from time to time. That said, what Billy Ho was talking about in his review was spot on - the mishits are minimized greatly and "bad" drives are still dangerous for an opponent.

I mentioned it in my fitting post, but the gains I got with these woods is rather remarkable...3-4 mph and roughly 15 yds with the driver. The feel of these clubs was weird to me at first...seemed heavier and boardier when you first grab them, but as soon as you swing, they somehow transform into these perfectly weighted weapons. The sound is incredible...metallic without being "tingy" or overly dull...they just sound fierce. The feel off the face is solid but really responsive.

Overall, solid investment for me. My rating: 12/10, would recommend. Thanks Titleist!

Honestly, my fitting for the GT3 was about as simple and exciting as things can get. Brian, whom I’ve known for a bit, clicked in a Ventus Black, I took a few swings and he just shrugged his shoulders and asked if I had any questions. I looked back and said, not if you don’t have any other suggestions. He replied that launch and spin were in a perfect window and ball speed was up 8 mph. We figured we had 45 minutes left and I was turned loose on the course with my new GT3 and a handful on Pro V1s to get a feel for her. Simply a superb driver all around, and the sound

  4. Was fitted for a shaft early spring for the TSR2 which was a 2 year old head, wanted to see what the fuss was all about. Went down to my local shop tried the gt4,gt3, gt2 heads, all different lofts. Gt4 was just not the head for me, personally not a fan of smaller heads. Was a tough fight between the 2&3. Ended up with the 10 degree GT3. Not as clean looking as the 2&4 but the functionality of it went perfectly with my fitted shaft. Seen a gain in the numbers you want to see up. Spin stayed low 1800-2200. Took it out for a nine hole round and the sound outdoors is completely different from the TSR line. Almost muted, ball flight was ideal and just feels effortless to smoke a drive. I’m a long ball hitter and have never drove this one par 4 that’s 345y to the front, couldn’t believe I did that today on a slightly faster than stock swing. Absolutely amazing product. Never thought I’d be giving my wife my tsr2 driver head.
  5. I was fitted last week at a Team Titleist event, and was a bit hesitant since my driver swing the last month just disappeared. Glad I went the experience was amazing, and my fitter Hunter was awesome! Being able to see the numbers and where I was actually hit the ball with Hunter's confidence helped build my confidence. I currently play a TSI3 and always struggled with a slice. It was a night and day once I got to try the GT2. Not only did i double the height but i gained almost 20yds. Driver just felt better and the confidence you gain swinging is mind blowing. Not once did i slice maybe pulled it a couple times but it was a great feeling swinging it straight with a draw. Definitely can't wait to have it shipped and ready to play!
  6. Played my first round yesterday with the gt3 9degree. Simply took my tsr3 head off and put the new one on my existing shaft mca tensei 1k black tx sure fit setting at b1. The goal was to compare the heads and see if there was any gains with the GT3. I played titleist left dash pro v1 and had bushnell launch monitor, so everything was the same as what I normally play except for the driver head.

Results were somewhat disappointing, ball flight was several degrees lower so mid way thru the rounds I changed to the c4 setting to add .75 loft, that helped achieve desired ball flight. Overall the numbers on the launch monitor were very similar to the tsr3, ball speed 168-172 which is right where I am with the TSR. Spin was down some but not enough to effect today distance. The ball flight was very straight, over all I hit it pretty good. I was very disappointed with the sound as it sounds and feels very similar to the Taylor made stealth. I need to play a few more rounds with it but thru one round there was very little change from my tsr3 and I will probably put this one in the closet due to the sound and feel off the face

Had my first round yesterday with the new GT3 and I am stoked about what I saw. I play the same course basically every time and could see really big gains out there. Even my misses were flying further than my old club. Fwiw, in my fitting I gained 21 yards carry and 24 overall! The sound and feel of the club is incredible. When caught on the center of the clubface, it's unlike any other.

I feel like I need to update this here. During my second round over the weekend, my GT3 head came off of my driver during a swing on the 9th tee and flew about 50 yards away, just missing the cart path. Disappointed to say the least. Seems like titleist went cheap on the ferrules. My club couldn’t even make it through 27 holes until I had issues. Anyone else had this problem?

To be honest, at the start of the year I wasn’t sure I was going to be making the switch to the new drivers. I was driving it really well and I didn’t think I could justify the purchase with marginal gains. One swing with my local Pros club changed my stance completely. The new name accurately reflects the technological leaps made.

Justin Long, my local fitter, got me setup in the 9 degree GT3. I have been playing with the club for about 3 weeks and I absolutely love it. I have picked up some ball speed on good strikes but the biggest difference is on mishits. The club is allowing me to keep the ball in play and not give up too much distance. I am very happy I made the switch.
  10. Got fit at the Canadian Team Titleist GT ;launch event back at beginning of July.
After several weeks of anticipation, my package with the GT4 driver and GT3 - 3 wood was finally in my hands!

When doing my fitting, I had a Cobra Darkspeed LS 8* with Freeflex FF45 shaft. Ultimately was fit onto GT4 - 8* head, with Hzrdus black Gen 5 shaft. At the time, showed a 14 yard gain in distance, along with tighter dispersion.

Flash forward to receiving the clubs, (they came set as per my fitting specs) went straight to the course. So many more straight, and long, drives than at any point this season. A long of 307, with several in the 280 + range as well. EASILY the best I've driven the ball this season, in terms of distance and dispersion.

Last round out, I brought the Cobra with me. As I was playing alone, I had some time to drop spare balls and hit extra shots. Gave the GT a wallop, and caught it a tickle thin, but otherwise solid contact. Slightly lower flight, but straight down the pipe.
Hit the Cobra, got a real nice hit on it, great flight etc. Also straight down the middle. Thought as it was in the air, "oh the Coba has this by a fair margin". Got up to the balls, and was surprised to see the Gt had finished 19 yards ahead!! Kind of validates what I saw at my fitting.

So all in all, I'm massively pleased. Both with the real world results thus far, and the fantastic opportunity afforded me by TT Canada !
  11. Played with the TSR3, TSi3 and now the GT3. Love it! Picked up a little swing speed which is giving me a few more yards and at the same time my dispersion has improved and more accurate.

I was fit for GT2 two weeks ago. What an awesome driver & FW! Incredible increase in distance and tighter dispersion. Interesting that I ended up with a counter balanced shaft. Can’t wait for the new sticks!!
  13. Went from a TSI 4 to the GT3. As you can see. Fits in well with the other kids. Skipped the TSR’s. I am seeing a little more distance. The ball flight is more of a concern to me. The GT3 is doing exactly what I want out of it. Lower trajectory and more roll out. I hit a high ball. Even with the tweaking of loft and a low kick point shaft. I’m 6’7” , 260lbs. So high is going to happen. The TSI 4 helped pattern the ball flight I was after. The GT3 is helping more.

  14. Got fit by Brock Nance at Howard’s Golf in Evansville, IN. Great experience! Moving on from a cally Epic Sub-Zero and got fit into the Titleist GT3 Ventus Black 6X. Picked up almost 7 miles an hour ball speed (167mph); 10 additional yards of carry (upwards of 295 yards) and about 12 additional yards (305-325 yards total). Not bad for someone turning 62 next month.

Also purchased the Titleist GT3 16.5 degree 3 wood Ventus Black 7X. Oh my goodness…perhaps the easiest fairway wood I’ve ever hit. And long.

Very, very satisfied with the recent purchases. I cannot recommend them enough. Thanks Titleist - and Howard’s Golf!
  15. When will the GT 1 be available? The GT 2 was just a minor improvement over my TSR 1 driver and frankly not worth the cost.

Have been lucky enough to have a GT4 in the bag now for the past month.
Yep early fitting and early public release due to TT member.
Have played all the TS drivers from the beginning and believe this GT is best driver yet released.
Great work Titleist, love your work.

I had my fitting on July 20. I was fitted for GT3 driver and GT2 fairway woods. It took about a month to get the clubs shipped as i am left handed and took a while to produce the parts. The GT3 is a lot more stable and consistent with striking the ball. I gained a few yards, but the driver is definitely more giving. The fairway woods i am still in the process of getting used to hitting them, but early results are positive. The fitting is well worth the money.

I only got the TSr2 end of 2023. I wonder if I should upgrade early
  19. I am so happy with my new GT2. I was fit at Newcastle by Dave Melvin who was awesome. I had the TSR2, and the improvement in my ability to drive the ball is amazing! I am so much more confident, but also the mishits are way better than previous. I also love that the the change in look is almost non existent so that it almost feels like the same driver. Thank you for putting out such a good product.

I was fit in August, GT3 9deg with Tensei 1K Black, amazing driver. I loved my TSR3, but the GT3 for me, is worth every penny. Longer drivers, more forgiving, and the feel is fantastic, what’s not to love.

    Great job Titleist!

Also a big shout out to my fitter Aaron Hernandez, great experience.
  21. The gains I’ve seen since my fitting have been beyond what I expected. When I hit a good drive previously it would go 245-255 total. Jason Fernandez here in Cleveland, OH fit me into a 11 degree from my previous 9.5 that hadn’t been fitted properly. I am now seeing 280-285 total distance which is such a game changer for me. I can’t say enough about the whole fitting experience and it motivated me to get fit for a set of irons 3 weeks later! The team Titleist crew are really doing it right!
