Thinking back... went to my first Team Titleist event unsure of what to expect.
It was at a local course that I'd played a few times so at least I'd get in a good round of golf - just like my home course.
If I didn't like my playing partners - not much different than my home course sometimes.
If I didn't play that great (thinking that others would judge me) - not much different than my home course sometimes.
If I didn't get any swag - no different than my home course.

What I experienced was a welcoming bunch of golfers, of all skill levels, that just wanted to have fun and get to know other golfers that enjoyed the Titleist brand as much as themselves. I got paired with guys that laughed off bad shots and stood amazed at how good Dr. K's son hit the ball for his age (at that time). Afterwards, we gathered to talk about the round over food and drinks. It wasn't until the very end when we had a raffle for some TT swag, but by that time I was 'all in'.

I'm not yet at a point in life to join a country club or have enough consistent time to be part of the men's group at my local course, but I've been blessed to be able to prioritize many more Team Titleist days and a couple TT Invitationals. Without question, my experience at each is very similar to my first - I'm always welcomed by fellow golfers who want to have fun and get to know other Titleist fans like themselves. Each event now is an opportunity to reconnect and enjoy long-time friendships (#TTWolfpack) and establish new ones.

Adding to that, for the longest time my wife couldn't understand my fascination with Titleist and the events. Last year, I got a chance to host our local TT Day - the same one I first attended. My wife came to help welcome and get everyone checked in - I'm a bit too social and knew I couldn't do it alone. She left after we teed off, but that night as I walked in the door, she said "Now I get it. Everyone was so nice and I can't believe how many came from other states just to play golf'"

Of course as we know, it wasn't 'just to play golf'. We all enjoy being social and the game of golf is a great way to experience it. Weather I play at beautiful venues, play great golf and/or get cool swag, the people I've met and continue to meet remain the top reason I'll keep prioritizing events and continue hosting our local TT Day (Orange County).

'Come for the golf, stay for the people'.
    Enjoy the journey!

I voted for the Experience World-Class or Private Golf Courses because that is how the events began for me back in 2016, however, the friendships I have made and will keep for the rest of my life are so very special. The particular event format is another aspect, the TTI is one that I will always do my best to attend (so far so good). TT Open, what a great format. And the latest being the TT Academy, OMG what a great event. There are a few more in the near future that will be added.

So overall I would have to voted multiple answers but you only gave me one. Thank you TT!!

To think it all started way back when with a one day event at Mid Pines in NC, where I met big Chris B, Gary B, Mike D and other staffers from Titleist. Wish I could find those pictures from the very first one. The events really have grown. A small event but the networking started and has lasted.

Found the a couple of pictures from that event. Also remember Rick (alas the Scorpion) and Abby who introduced us to those TT coffee cups. Thinking 2015.

One correction with my research. Memory does fade. It was at Pine Needles where it all began. Received a email from the Carolinas Golf Association this morning and recognized the practice green and lodge where we had lunch after the event.

I think it's a good mix of "All of the Above" really.

I chose "To Connect With Team Titleist Members" but even 2020 at Bandon where connections were limited, it was still a blast!

Wish I could go to all the trips!!!

    Thanks,

    Ben

Allan - Where is "All the Above Option". I couldn't agree more with everyone.

To add additional commentary and perspective, last year was the first time I was able to attend my first TT event which was in my home state of California. I attended the Orange County event a solo not quite sure what to expect. What I quickly realized was the event was much more than a round of golf. I was greeted with a big smile and a warm welcome from Bobby Young and that was my introduction to TT Events.

It was awesome to meet like minded people who have a passion for golf and Titleist. Little did I know that I would meet some people which a budding relationship began. a year later I'm still in touch with them and look forward to meeting up at the next event.

Like many others, life can get in the way and my money tree goes bare from time to time so when I am able to make an event, I cherish it that much more.

Extremely thankful for everyone at Titleist and all the awesome TT members who help put these events on to make lasting memories!

Cheers to more events in the future!

Well said Ron & Guy, I totally agree with you! I attend these events to meet other Team Titleist Members from all over who share the same passion, Golf & Titleist. The Tee Gift is always well thought-out & appreciated. Looking forward to another event hosted by Lisa & Allan.

To be fair it won’t let me tick every box!! It’s the closest most of us get to living the dream at some stage you can try equipment either to buy or just to say you have had a go. The courses are always at the level we are members or would love to be the giveaway and prizes top the day off as they can’t normally be bought it’s informal and fun without being to competitive like some other brand type days that are hard to control maybe a different type of customer!! ️‍♂️️‍♂️

I got to my first official TT UK event recently, the tour truck night up at Scottsdale Golf in Birmingham. Tough to single out my favourite part as I thoroughly enjoyed all of it!

Getting to connect with other TT members was great, good mix of ability levels and everyone was welcoming and light hearted.

Meeting some of the UK Titleist staff was great too as they shared so much insight into the tech behind the equipment and also what goes on behind the scenes.

Testing out some of the gear was also brilliant, and certainly left my golf bag feeling like it would like some new friends to be added to it... my wallet, however, is concerned

Can't wait for the short game clinic next month!
