The course itself isn't hard at all, but the greens are absolutely brutal. Television does it no justice, the undulations are crazy, and they're much smaller than the cameras make it appear. 18 up the hill from the middle tees is like 420, playing like 450+. Tough course!

If I were to play only one hole at Augusta, I'd be torn between 12 and 16. Every hole at Augusta has plenty of history. I feel that Sunday on 12 has the nostalgia factor of being critical to tournament success, or demise (it's Amen corner for a reason). That said, 16 presents an equally challenging tee shot with the added bonus of catching lightning in a bottle with the slope of the green, as compared to 12.

Final answer, would be 16 for the added luck factor that so many of us mortals benefit from.....potentially.

might take me 6 or 7 shots to get the ball in the hole but at least I'm making the most of my time at Augusta.
the 8th at Pebble might be the best 2nd shot in golf but the approach shot at 13 takes the #2 spot imo.

The second shot into #11 is one.

Being able to play there any hole would be a favorite.
