  2. Happy New Year to all at Team Titlest.

2022 starts with a house move so 1st goal is to join a new golf club. 2nd goal to get back to single figures.

Best wishes to you all, enjoy your golf in 2022.
  3. Hi Matt,

I'm retiring this year and EXPECTING (wife please note) to be able to spend more time on my game. Both playing and setting up a robust practice regime. I treated myself to a custom fit set of T300's and a couple of SM8 wedges in 2021 so I'm ready to go. I'll be 68 in September and played to a good standard in my teens and twenties but life, work and family has got in the way for the last 40 years and my game is not what it was, but I can still get 250 off the tee on a good day.

My challenge to myself is to break 70 before I hit 70. I like to follow your on-line coaching tips which I try to adopt if I think they might help, so together we'll do this.

Wish me luck and I hope you and yours have a prosperous and successful 2022.

    Regards,

    Bob

I usually post my TT goal sheet, but after last year I'm going to keep it to myself this year as only 3 of 7 were met in some way mainly due to the Covid restrictions.

I did get the HCI down from 15.8 to 11.1 (but the poor weather and course conditions have seen this go back up to 12.40) Score 10/10

I did play 9 of the targeted 10 new courses to play. Score 9/10

I did shoot sub 80 rounds at my home course (not as regular as I'd like) but a 78 on Xmas eve was the best of the year. Score 9/10

    All the rest scored 0/10.

This year it's getting that HCI into single figures which will mean improving all my stats especially GIR and bunker play.

Have a great year golfing and hopefully a TT day might be possible.
  7. Very simple - reduce the number of three putts as that should help the handicap, the competition results and, most importantly, my mental well being!

Continuing my journey with my golf pro... He has changed my out to in path to inside path. This with path face relationship has really been a tough past 6 months going from breaking 85 regularly before lesson to finding it difficult to now break 90! It's getting better, and I will preserver because when it's good, it's the best I've hit a shot, which always results in shorter irons into greens off bigger drives, or birdy opportunities from great par 3 iron tee shots. 2022 is definitely going to continue in this trend.

My last time on a course was in August 2019. I had to stop playing after 9 holes because of the pain arthritis was causing. A change in medication sorted this, but then Covid meant shielding!
I’m now back clipped few on the range and simply looking forward to getting back to playing and enjoying time with my son. No targets, no expectations, just to get out and enjoy!
  10. Simple. Live long enough to receive my T100 irons which I ordered last September.
  11. Well this year would be nice to finally find a nice set of CB XFlex irons….

But the big once is to finally get the handicap down into the low single figures. So this year is a big year and really gonna push the game and see where it takes us!!

    Happy new year all!!
  12. To play with my new T200s irons that I got fitted for last year but still not arrived.

I need to practice more as well. Chipping is a must as is 100 yards and in, certainly the 2 weakest parts of my game, despite using the best equipment.

Want to get the handicap down from 8.0 to 6.0.

But overall need to enjoy playing again!!

Best wishes for 2022 Matt and all members of Team Titleist.
    My golfing goals are:-
To improve my set up - I have been working hard at this with my coach!
To be more consistent with 75yard - 100 yard shots. I have a gap in my wedges. Maybe time to invest and swap my 52 and 60 degrees for 3 wedges
To improve my putting - still too many 3 putts creeping into my game

    Kirkcaldy,

My golfing goal for 2022 is really just to enjoy my golf more. Change of job last year meant i didnt play quite as much as i wanted so this year i just want to enjoy it. New tsi2 3 wood and t100 / t200 set of irons near the end of the year so hopefully help with my greens in regulation.
  17. Hi TT Members my golfing goal for 2022 is probably the same as most enjoy golf more, reduce the handicap down I’ll not say to what but down is the goal. Happy golfing

  20. Gotta be singles this year ! Last year was spent hovering between 10 and 12 which was frustrating so I ordered new T series irons and this is going to be THE year
