I think I already posted on this but after seeing the 716s a few weeks ago (Only saw, not hit), i would give these a shot..

Without a doubt, hold out for the 716's to be released and get fitted. I have 714's now and will be ordering the 716's the day they hit the floors. Absolutely. :)

I went through the same thing with the 712s and 714s. Played TM for years but got sick of them coming out with a new line every month. I always loved titleist and was gonna get the 712s cuz they were cheaper.but glad I got the 714s. Beautiful clubs all around. Finally have a complete set with no mismatches. And now the 716s are coming out :(. It's ok though. Although they're beautiful I love my set and don't think they can improve that much on them. So glad I switched to Titleist . Just have to get fit now.

I'm coming back, just wondering if you got fit? I also wonder whether that even matters frankly unless you're scratch or better, not trying to start a war here, but I just don't personally know about the incremental benefit as an amateur. Anyway, I used to play the AP2 712s and for work reasons played 75% less golf the last 3 years until this season. Hence my game suffered. So, I got "fit" and went with a split iron bag as recommended by the pro. 5i and 6i png i25, 7i-Pw png S-55. I've been able to play more in the last year and as such have played these irons a lot... I hate them. I hate the look, the sound and the feel of the shot. Bad decision and I should've known. Wish I would've kept my 712s frankly. So, looking forward to going back to Titleist, just wondering whether the the new tech of the 716's are worth the cost over the 714's.

When it comes to getting fitted it does not matter at the level you play. Fitting you to a set of clubs ensures that you get the RIGHT club for YOU. They check you numbers and it only improves you game. Try both of the new clubs, the AP1s and the AP2s. Let the professional put you in right direction. Welcome back and good luck. Chuck
